SPNN Open House

The SPNN Open is happening on December 8th from 10AM-1PM. The live Santa Call-In show will be going on- see how a live production happens. Tape a message for your family or loved ones that will air through December on all five SPNN channels. Tour the production van and two television studios, enter in a contest for teens, work on a production in the Youth Department.

SPNN now accepts DVD

SPNN is now accepting programs for playback on DVD. When making a DVD for SPNN, please make sure there is no bars and tone or countdown on the front of the DVD. Please include only the program from start to finish. Unless otherwise requested, SPNN will dispose of DVD's once they are done playing, we will not be returning them.

When submitting on tape, either DV or VHS, please make sure to include bars and tone and countdown at the front of the tape.

Remember to include a playback release form for each tape/DVD submitted.

Robert Annan- MOTM

SPNN's member of the month for November is Robert Annan.  He has produced a religious program called Redeemed Life International for several years.  He has also particpated in an ACM conference panel discussion regarding production.

We did an interview with Store to Door for November's All Things Access. Store to Door is a local non-profit that helps home bound individuals receive groceries.

Film Debut

John Akre is screening his animated feature film, "Wargoon Flishe," on Monday, November 19th at the Ritz Theater, 345 13th Ave. NE. Admission cost is a donation to the Ritz Theater. All proceeds will go to the Ritz Theater Foundation.
"Wargoon Flishe" is a cartoon about cannibalism, mass murder, and marketing. It is a hero's story based in part on "The Epic of Gligamesh." City Pages called it, "hypnotic and completely overwhelming."
