Introduction to Photoshop Workshop

Introduction to Photoshop January 9th @ 1PM.

Have you ever wanted to create flyers, postcards, or even a DVD cover advertising your latest masterpiece? For the first time in a long time SPNN is offering Intro to Photoshop, a workshop that will give you the beginning skills you need to create your own print graphics. This class will be taught by SPNN staffer Sor Thao who has created several of SPNN’s marketing materials and has several years of experience using this graphics editing program.

$20 for current members, $30 for non-members, $10 for students, seniors, and limited income members. Please pre-register for this class, space is limited.

Member Appreciation

We will be hosting a member appreciation night

October 16, 2009 from 6-8pm. Large studio

This event is to appreciate members. It is also an opportunity to meet the variety of producers who contribute to the SPNN community and programming.

There will be food/drink, prizes and a draw to the death game of pictionary-scattegories-taboo-jeaopardish game, all about Community television/media.

back the Grind

With labor day upon us, it is time to get back into the swing of things. I was off on maternity leave for most of the summer and access reduced our hours on Tuesdays to allow for prep time for staff. As we head into Fall we once again will go back to our normal hours. We will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from noon-10PM, Wednesdays 6PM-10PM, Saturday 9:30AM-5:30PM, and Sundays noon-5:30PM.

Member Appreciation

We don't tell our members often enough, but we appreciate all the time,energy, and dedication they put into their programs. We understand everyone has busy lives, but the fact that they put together something for the community to watch is why we are here.

That is why we'd like to invite SPNN members to our Member Appreciation night. Mark the calendar for Friday, October 16th from 6PM-8PM. We will have food, drinks, and a SPNN mystry game. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can better plan.
