Producing a Religious Program

Have you thought about taping your church services? Do you have a spiritual message that you'd like to share on television? If you have been thinking about producing a religious tv show and not sure how to go about doing it, then consider taking this workshop. Bonnie Schumacher will cover the basics from what you need to know in terms of SPNN membership rules, tips for building your production team, what style of programming works best for you and she'll offer suggestions for distributing your show to other access centers or posting shows over the internet. The tips offered may also be helpful for folks already producing a series but want new ideas of how to strengthen or enhance what they are already doing. This class has a suggested donation of $10 per person. This class will be held Saturday, June 19 at 10AM.

Está usted interesado en la creación de un video o programa de televisión? En SPNN podemos darle el espacio y las herramientas que necesita para filmar, editar y transmitir su próximo proyecto. SPNN se presenta su Clase de Orientación y Cámaras el sabado, 22 de mayo desde las 2-5 p.m. La primera parte de la clase le dará información acerca de SPNN, las reglas de afiliación, e incluirá un recorrido por las instalaciones. La segunda parte de la clase le dará información del funcionamiento básico de la cámara para que usted puede tener confianze en la grabación de su próximo evento. Muchos de nuestros afiliados han creado documentarios, grabado eventos comunitarios, o han grabado los servicios de Domingo para compartir con la comunidad. Minneapolis Film Race 2010

he Minneapolis Film Race 2010 is set to kick off at 10PM on Friday, March 26th! Local filmmakers will be challenged to create an original short film in 24 hours based on a theme and surprise element assignment. All of the completed films will premiere for the public at the Oak Street Cinema and the top films will be competing for thousands in cash & prizes against filmmakers across North America!

Introduction to Photoshop Workshop

Introduction to Photoshop January 9th @ 1PM.

Have you ever wanted to create flyers, postcards, or even a DVD cover advertising your latest masterpiece? For the first time in a long time SPNN is offering Intro to Photoshop, a workshop that will give you the beginning skills you need to create your own print graphics. This class will be taught by SPNN staffer Sor Thao who has created several of SPNN’s marketing materials and has several years of experience using this graphics editing program.

$20 for current members, $30 for non-members, $10 for students, seniors, and limited income members. Please pre-register for this class, space is limited.
